 Vans distributed among poor people in Joypurhat Battery-run vans have been distributed among poor people in Khetlal upazila of Joypurhat district to make them self reliant. Joypurhat DC Md Shariful Islam handed over vans to 20 poor people at a programme held on the Zila Parishad premises on Wednesday afternoon. Zila Parishad chairman Arifur Rahman Rocket, superintendent of Joypurhat police Mohammad Salam Kabir, social service deputy director Md Imam Hasim were, among others, present. SIS/MUS |
