Man held with hemp

Detectives, in a drive, arrested a man alongwith six kilograms of hemp from Sadar upazila of Joypurhat district on wednesday afternoon.

District DB police sub-inspector Amirul Islam said arrested Philips,43, son of Afzal Hossain, of Bhadsa village had long been supplying ganja to drug addicts.

A case was filed against Philips under the Anti Narcotics Act, he added.
