'Educational institutions will reopen 1st or 2nd week of Feb'

Educational institutions across the country may be reopened first or second week of February. The classes will be taken by arranging multiple shifts in accordance with health guidelines.

The students of class V will be given priorities, Md Zakir Hossain, State Minister for Primary and Mass Education, told media on Tuesday.

He said the authorities of the educational institutions of the country have been asked to take all the preparations for resuming classes by February 4. The classes will be resumed after getting nod from Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

The students of Classes I-V of the government schools will attend classes by shifts. Of them, the Class V students will be given priorities. And, the rest of the classes will be taken once a week, the State Minister added.
