![]() HSC results: Gazette notification published The gazette notification of three amendment bills for publishing the results of Higher Secondary Certificate and equivalent examinations published on Monday night. Before publishing the gazette, President Abdul Hamid approved the three bills. Now, the results will be published any day. After passing three amendment bills on January 24, Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni said the results will be published after publishing the gazette notification. The three bills are- 'Intermediate and Secondary Education (Amendment) Bill, 2021', 'Bangladesh Technical Education Board (Amendment) Bill, 2021' and 'Bangladesh Madrasah Education Board (Amendment) Bill, 2021'. The Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations were postponed in October, 2019, due to COVID-19 situation. The HSC batch of 2020 will be the first batch of students who will get certificates without sitting for the examinations as it is the first time in the history of the country that a public examination has been cancelled.
