A college student of
Rajshahi has allegedly been killed after being called out of home.
The deceased was identified as Shafiul Islam, 25, son of Saidul Islam of Kamarpara Tangan village in
Mohanpur upazila. He was a masters' student of Accounting department of Rajshahi College.
Mohanpur Police Inspector (Investigation) Touhidur Rahman said locals found Shafiul's body in a mango orchard, 150 yards from his home, on Sunday morning.
Being informed, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body.
Family said one Abdul Bari, 35, called Shafiul out of his house at around 8 pm on Saturday.
Police, however, detained Bari for interrogation.
Touhidul Islam said Shafiul's body bore injurt marks on his head, forehead and under eyes.
The body will be sent to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy./End
