Fire at Kamalapur RMG factory brought under control


A fire that broke out at a readymade garment factory in the capital's Kamalapur area around 7:30am on Sunday morning, is now under control.

The fire broke out at the 6th floor of 'Oli Garments' near BRTC bus depot. On information, 10 fire fighting units rushed to the spot and doused the blaze at 9am, Fire Service and Civil Defence duty officer Ershad Hossain confirmed.

No casualties have been reported so far and reason behind the fire could not be known yet, he said.
