Launch services suspended on Paturia-Daulatdia route

 file photo The authorities have suspended launch services from 10:00am on Friday, said Mohiuddin Russell, manager of Aricha sector of Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC). Five ferries with a large number of vehicles and passengers on board were stuck in the middle of the river. Meanwhile, over hundred of vehicles remained stuck on both sides of Paturia-Daulatdia ferry waiting to cross the river. |
