Paturia-Daulatdia ferry services resume after 11 hrs

After 11 hours of suspension, Paturia-Daulatdia ferry services resumed on Friday morning.

Mohiuddin Russell, manager of BIWTC's Paturia Ghat, said 16 ferries started moving on the route around 11:00am when fog began to disappear.

Earlier, the ferry services was suspended at 2:30am on Friday due to poor visibility caused by dense fog.

Six ferries got stuck in the middle of the Padma River following the suspension.
