Man crushed under pick-up van in Dhaka's Kamrangirchar

A man was crushed under the wheels of a pick-up van in Kamrangirchar's Beribandh area in the capital on Wednesday morning.

The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

The man, aged about 50, met the tragic end of his life while crossing the road around 7am, leaving him critically injured.

He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital by pickup van driver Rakib Hossain where the on-duty doctors declared the injured dead, the DMCH police outpost inspector Bachchu Mia confirmed.

The body was kept at the hospital morgue.
