Clash between two councilor candidates; One hacked



A clash ensued between the followers of two councilor candidates beside a polling centre in Chandina of Cumilla district on Saturday, leaving four injured.

Ibrahim Khalil, brother of councilor candidate Billal Hossain, said Nazmul Hasan's supporters attacked them at 9am near Harong Government Primary School polling centre.
They hacked Mohsin, a supporter of councilor candidate Billal Hossain. He was first taken to Upazila health Complex. From there, he was shifted to Cumilla Medical College Hospital as condition critical.

Three others were also injured during the attack.
