Mayor Mirza urges PM to help end sick politics in Noakhali, Feni
Noakhali Basurhat Municipality Mayor Abdul Quader Mirza has called upon Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to take necessary measures to sick politics in Noakhali and Feni districts.
He made the call at a meeting at Ward No. 1 of the municipality on Tuesday evening.
He said the Awami League would be politically well-organized if Prof Belayet Hossain and Khairul Anam Saleem were given the responsibility of the party in Noakhali district.
Similarly, if former MP Joynal Hazari and The Daily Observer Editor Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury are given the responsibility of the party in Feni. It will bring the existing sick-politics in these two districts to an end.
He said the development work of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is fading away due to some corrupt political leaders. Only she can help people get rid of all these difficulties.
