School girl ‘commits suicide’ in Manikganj

An 11-year-old school girl reportedly committed suicide at Sadar upazila in Manikganj district on Saturday.

Deceased Jasmine Akter was the daughter of Sohrab Hossain, a resident of Kushabhanga village in the upazila. She was a class VI student at Katigram High School in the area.

Sadar Police Station officer in-charge (OC) Ali Akbar Khan said on information, police recovered the body of the girl from their home in the afternoon and sent it to Manikganj General Hospital morgue.

An unnatural case was filed in this connection.
