Tea staller killed in Jashore

Miscreants have killed a tea staller at Manirampur upazila in Jashore district.

Deceased Jalal Bishwas, 55, was a resident of Khalia village in the upazila.

Locals said Jalal went out of the house to open his shop at early hours of Thursday.

Later, locals spotted the body in a paddy field adjacent to his shop and informed police.

Additional superintendent of Jashore police Touhidul Islam said being informed, police recovered the body and sent it to Jashore General Hospital morgue.

The law enforcers are investigating the incident sincerely, he added.
