Man killed as truck hits motorcycle in Jhenidah

A truck rammed into a motorcycle at Kotchandpur upazila in Jhenidah district on Wednesday night, leaving the biker dead.

Deceased Joy Das, 37, was was the son of Jogen Das, a resident of Kaliganj umiciplaity in the district.

Kotchandpur Police Station officer in-charge Mahbubul Alam said a truck hit the motorcycle in Nawdaga Kashipur area, leaving the bike rider dead on the spot and the pillion rider critically injured.

The injured was rushed to Kotchandpur Upazila Health Complex, he added.
