Brick kiln fined 50,000 in Noakhali

A mobile court in Noakhali on Sunday fined a brick field Tk 50,000 for not having license.

On information, a team of law enforcers, led by assistant commissioner (land) Mazharul Islam, raided M/s AKB Bricks Manufacture in Hamidullah village in Hatia upazila in the afternoon.

As the manager of the brick kiln Nurul Amin could not show the necessary documents, magistrate Mazharul Islam fined it the amount, in default, to suffer three months in jail.

Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md Imran Hossain confirmed the matter.
