7 killed as bus rams auto-rickshaw in Mymensingh

Seven persons, including a child, were killed and two others injured as a bus rammed into an auto-rickshaw at Tarakanda upazila in Mymensingh district on Sunday afternoon.

Among the deceased, six were the members of a family.

Tarakanda Police Station OC Abul Khair said the accident took place at Gachtola area on the Mymensingh-Netrokona regional road around 1:00pm.

Following the accident, movement of transports on the Mymensingh-Netrokona road remained suspended.

A bus of 'Shahjalal Paribahan' from Dhaka smashed a CNG-run auto-rickshaw at Gachtola area leaving seven people dead on the spot, the police official added. The deceased were three men, three women and a child.
