Entry to Hatirjheel Lake remain closed until Friday morning
All the entry points of Hatirjheel Lake in the city will remain closed from 5.00pm on Thursday to Friday morning to avoid mass gathering due to coronavirus pandemic.
Hatirjheel Police Station OC Abdur Rashid said five entrances of the lake would remain close from 5.00pm and people have been asked not to go there.
"Members of law enforcement agencies will remain deployed at different points of the lake and patrol overnight to check any untoward incident,” he added.
Dhaka Metropolitan Police has banned all kinds of outdoor celebration of the 31st night including rooftop celebration.
