18 more contract coronavirus in Naogaon

As many as 18 more people have tested positive for novel coronavirus in Naogaon district.

Deputy Civil surgeon Dr Manjur-e Murshed confirmed the matter on Thursday night through a report sent by email.

Meanwhile, the number of patients related to cold admitted to hospitals in the district has started to increase, he said.

Among the newly COVD-19 infected patients, 12 are in Sadar, three in Badalgachhi, and one in Dhamoirhat, Patnitala and Raninagar upazilas each.

So far, 1,530 people contracted the deadly virus in the district while 1,434 of them made recovery and 25 died.
