28 held in Rajshahi district

Police arrested 28 people in Rajshahi district from Sunday night till Monday morning on various charges.

Of the the arrestees, three were arrested by district police and 25 by metropolitan police.

Among them, 12 had arrest warrant, 5 were drug addicts and the rest 11 were arrested on different charges.

RMP Additional Deputy Police Commissioner (Sadar) Mohammad Golam Ruhul Kuddus confirmed the matter through a press release on Monday.

Legal action has been taken against those arrested, the official added.
