College student killed as truck hits motorcycle

A truck rammed into a motorcycle at Nandigram upazila in Bogura district on Sunday night, leaving the biker dead.

Deceased Nur Islam Rocky, 22, was third year student of Department of Management at Government Azizul Haque College. He was the son of Abdus Salam, a resident of Shwashinagar village under Bhatra union.

Nandigram Police Station officer in-charge Shawkat Kabir said a truck hit the motorcycle on the at Kumira Panditpukur Bazar at about 9:00pm, leaving the bike rider critically injured.

He was rushed to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital where the on-duty doctor declared dead, he added.
