A total of 24,209 people have so far been infected with the deadly COVID-19 in Rajshahi division as 43 new cases detected in six districts here on Friday.
Dr Gopendra Nath Acharya, Divisional Director of Health, confirmed the information in a COVID-19 related daily report in Rajshahi division on Saturday.
Of the new detected cases, eight in Rajshahi, one in Natore, two in Joypurhat, 23 in Bogra, seven in Sirajganj and two in Pabna.
Of the total infected patients, 21,946 people have, so far, recovered from the deadly disease with 364 fatalities in the division till Saturday morning.
