Another doctor dies of COVID-19

Another doctor has died of coronavirus infection while receiving treatment at Asgar Ali Hospital in the capital.

Pediatrician Dr SM Anwarul Karim was the director of Nibedita Shisu Hospital.

Anwarul tested positive for the virus on December 12 and after that, he had been undergoing treatment at the hospital.

He breathed his last at ICU unit of the hospital around 2:15 pm on Friday, said Nibedita Shishu Hospital’s administrative officer Khaja Ahmed.
