Woman run over by unidentified vehicle in Narayanganj

A woman was run over by an unidentified vehicle at Sonargaon upazila in Narayanganj district on Friday morning.

Deceased Maksuda Akter Parul, 45, was a resident of the upazila. She worked at a fibre company.

Quoting locals, Kanchpur Highway Police Station sub-inspector (SI) Benu Mia said she was crushed under a vehicle in Mograpara intersection area on the Dhaka-Chattogram highway at early hours when she was crossing the road, leaving her dead on the spot.

On information, a team of highway police recovered the body from the spot.
