7 degree celsius recorded in Tentulia, Kurigram


The country's lowest temperature was recorded at 7 degree celsius in Panchagarh's Tentulia and Kurigram's Rajarhat on Sunday.

Tentulia Weather Observation Centre acting officer Rassel Shah said the lowest minimum temperature 7 degree celsius was recorded in the upazila around 9am.

Meanwhile, Rahidul Islam from Rajshahi informed that the same temperature was recorded at Rajarhat this morning.
The sweeping of cold wave, accompanied by dense fog, is making life harder for the residents of Tentulia upazila.

As the temperature has been continuing bellow 10 degree celsious for the last six days in the upazila, lives of people became standstill here.

Poor and destitute are suffering a lot due to continuous blow of cold wave.

Day-labourers are fighting with the cold spell for their families and livelihood.

On Saturday, the lowest temperature of the country was recorded at 6.6 degrees Celsious at Rajarhat in Kurigram district, according to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD).
