Victory Day observed in Laxmipur

The 50th Victory Day was celebrated in Laxmipur distrct in memory of the martyrs with respect and love.

The district administration, different government and non-government organizations, socio-cultural organizations, development organizations arranged various programs marking the day.

The day began with 31-gun salute and placing floral wreaths at the Shaheed Minar by Deputy Commissioner Anjan Chandra Pal, Police Super Dr Hm Kamruzzaman, and Awami League and its associate’s organizations.

Later, leaders of different political parties, other organizations and people from all walks of life placed floral wreaths there with enthusiasm till the morning of December 16.

Beside, the national flag was also hoisted atop all public and private buildings while the islands of roads, educational institutions and other buildings were decorated with posters and banners.
