Reception to freedom fighters in Pirojpur’s Bhandaria

Pirojpur’s Bhandaria Upazila administration organised a reception to the freedom fighters on Wednesday morning on the occasion of Victory Day.

Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md Nazmul Alam presided over a discussion meeting where Freedom Fighter Commander Abdul Aziz Sikder, Upazila Vice Chairman Mashiur Rahman Mridha, UP Chairman Siddiqur Rahman Tulu, Heroic Freedom Fighter Abdur Rashid Mridha and others spoke.

Meanwhile, Mirajul Islam Welfare Foundation held free medical camp and provided three-wheelers to 14 poor families.

The founder and chairman of the foundation Mirajul Islam was also present during that time.

Earlier, various socio-cultural organizations including Upazila Administration, Police Administration, Upazila Muktijoddha Command, Upazila Awami League, Jatiya Party (JP) and BNP laid wreaths at the central Shaheed Minar in the town.
