One held with Phensedyl in Joypurhat

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) members on Monday morning arrested a man along with 222 bottles of Phensedyl syrup in Panchbibi upazila of Joypurhat district.

Detained Atikul Islam, 38, a resident of the upazila.

On information, a team of RAB-5 conducted a drive in Birnagar area and detained him with the contraband syrup, RAB sources.

RAB-5 Joypurhat camp company commander additional superintendent of police MM Muhaimenur Rashid said a case was filed in this connection under the Narcotics Control Act.
