As many as five more people have contracted coronavirus in Bhola district, taking the total numbers of the cases to 919.
In last 24 hours, 66 samples were tested in the district where seven found positive. Among the newly infected patients, seven are in Sadar and one in Tajumaddin upazila.
Civil surgeon office confirmed the matter on Friday morning.
So far, 841 virus patients made recovery here.
Some 473 infected persons out of 538 in Sadar, 54 out of 56 in Daulatkhan, 102 out of 105 in Borhanuddin, 45 out of 46 in Tazumuddin, 70 out of 74 in Lalmohan, 65 out of 68 in Charfesson, 32 out of 32 in Monpura upazila recovered from the deadly virus.
As of Friday, nine people died of coronavirus in Bhola, while around 40 died with the its symptoms.
A total of 8,172 samples were collected for coronavirus test in the district.
