Man found dead in Naogaon

Police recovered the body of a man from a canal at Niamatpur upazila in Naogaon district on Thursday morning.

Deceased Bijoy Rabi Das, 50, was a resident of Balahair village in the upazila.

Niamatpur Police Station officer in-charge Humayun Kabir said locals spotted the floating body in the canal at Karbala village under Sadar union and informed police.

Later, police recovered the body and sent it to Naogaon Sadar Hospital morgue, he added.
