Corona infected BNP leader Chowdhury Kamal dies

Chowdhury Kamal Ibne Yusuf, BNP Vice Chairman and former lawmaker, died from novel coronavirus at a Dhaka hospital on Wednesday.

He breathed his last at Evercare hospital around 1 pm, BNP Chairperson's press wing member Shairul Kabir Khan confirmed the news.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir expressed deep shock at the demise of Chowdhury Kamal.

Kamal Ibne Yusuf had been elected to parliament in the 1979 election and had induced as a minister in the government of President Justice Abdus Sattar in 1981.
