A total of 23,236 people have so far been infected with the deadly COVID-19 in Rajshahi division as 59 new cases detected in six districts here on Monday.
Dr Gopendra Nath Acharya, Divisional Director of Health, confirmed the information in a COVID-19 related daily report in Rajshahi division on Tuesday.
Of the new detected cases, 11 in Rajshahi, one in Natore, one in Joypurhat, 35 in Bogra, two in Sirajganj and nine in Pabna.
Of the total infected patients, 21,110 people have, so far, recovered from the deadly disease with 349 fatalities in the division till Tuesday morning.
