Man held with Yaba in Patuakhali

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested a man along with Yaba pills on Kolapara upazila in Patuakhali district on Monday night.

Arrested Rahat Khan, 26, a resident of Londa village in the upazila.

A team of RAB-8, led by camp acting company commander assistant director Md Robiul Islam, conducted a drive in the area around 10:30 pm and arrested him with 33 pieces of Yaba tablet.

During initial questioning, Rahat confessed to his involvement with the crime.

He was handed over to Kalapara Police Station and a case was filed with the Police Station under the Narcotics Control Act.
