Man killed in Noakhali road accident

A man was killed in a road accident in Noakhali’s Senbug upazila on Sunday.

The deceased was identified as Md. Saheb Ullah, 57, a resident of Latifur village in Begumganj upazila.

Locals said a CNG-run auto rickshaw overturned in Fakirhat Bazar area in the morning when its driver tried to save a minor boy who ran before it, leaving four people injured.

Saheb Ullah was taken to Nokhali General Hospital and later, referred to Dhaka for better treatment.

He succumbed to his injuries on way to Dhaka.

Senbug Police Station OC Abdul Baten Mridha confirmed the matter.
