 Ansar man among 2 killed in Tangail road accident Auto-rickshaw driver killed as tracktor rams vehicle in Tangail A CNG-run auto-rickshaw driver was killed and five others were injured as a tractor rammed into the vehicle at Nagarpur upazila in Tangail district on Saturday morning. The deceased was identified as Md Sentu Mia, 37, was the son of Abdul Majid Mia, a resident of Chashabhadrar village in the upazila. Police and local sources said a brick-lade tractor smashed the auto-rickshaw carrying five passengers in front of Nagarpur Fire Service and Civil Defence Station around 10:30am, leaving the auto-rickshaw driver dead on the spot and five passengers injured. The injured were taken to Nagarpur Upazila Health Complex. Nagarpur Police Station officer in-charge Anisur Rahman Anis said police seized the both vehicle and a case was filed in this connection.
