2 Mushiganj MPs contract COVID-19

Member of Parliament (MP) from Munshiganj-2 constituency Sagufta Yasmin Emily and Munshiganj-3 MP Mrinal Kanti Das have tested positive for the coronavirus.

They were found COVID-19 positive on Tuesday.

Sagufta is now undergoing treatment at United Hospital in Dhaka while Mrinal at a private hospital in the city's Dhanmondi.

They both are in good health.

Earlier on Friday (November 27), they were present in a hilsa festival at Nadi Bandar ground in Shimulia Ghat of the district where they faced crowd that might led to the contract of the virus.
