Police arrest 37 in Rajshahi on different charges

Police in separate drives arrested 37 people from different places of Rajshahi in last 24 hours till Wednesday morning on different charges.

Of the arrestees, 12 were accused in different cases while 11 were held with drugs and 14 had arrest warrants against them.

Mohammad Golam Ruhul Quddus, additional deputy police commissioner of Rajshahi Metropolitan Police confirmed the matter in a press release on Wednesday.

The law enforcers also recovered a huge amount of drugs during the drives.

The arrested persons were sent jail following court order.
