Hanging body of minor recovered in Jamalpur

Police recovered the hanging body of a 11-year-old boy at Sarishabari upazila in Jamalpur district on Tuesday afternoon.

Deceased Mahin Mia was the son of Md Suruzzaman, a resident of Chitulia village in the upazila. He was a class IX student at Pingna Talimul Quran Qawmi Madrasa.

Deceased’s mother Maksuda Begum said she found the hanging body of Mahin in the house around 11 am.

On information, police recovered the body around 4 pm and sent it to hospital morgue, said Tarakandi police investigation centre sub-inspector (SI) Foyzur Rahman.
