43 held in Rajshahi on various charges

Police in separate drives arrested 43 people from different places of Rajshahi in last 24 hours till Tuesday morning on different charges.

Of the arrestees, 18 were accused in different cases while 10 were held with drugs and 15 had arrest warrants against them.

Mohammad Golam Ruhul Quddus, additional deputy police commissioner of Rajshahi Metropolitan Police confirmed the matter in a press release on Tuesday.

The law enforcers also recovered a huge amount of drugs during the drives.

The arrested persons were sent jail following court order.
