 Seven held with hemp in Jashore Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) members detained seven people along with hemp in Pulerhat area of Jashore district town on Sunday night. The detained persons are from Rajshahi, Pabna and Jashore district. RAB-6 captain Lt Col Roushanul Firoz in a press briefing said on information, a team of elite force conducted a drive in the area on the Jashore-Benapole highway at night and detained them with 1.2 kgs of hemp from a microbus. The market price of the recovered hemp is around Tk 1.2 crore. Filing of a case is underway in this connection. |
