Bus services halted in Habiganj |
 Bus services halted in Habiganj Movement of buses and mini buses on all routes of Habiganj have been suspended following a strike called by the district bus owners' and workers' organizations. The organisation kept the bus services stopped from Sunday morning demanding restrictions on three-wheelers plying on the regional roads, including Dhaka-Sylhet highway. District Motor Owner's Group general secretary Shangkha Shubhra Roy said they have already submit a memorandum before the deputy commissioner to stop illegal three-wheeler on the highway and regional roads. But they did not pay heed to their demand. For this, the organisation is observing the strike. The accident on the routes occur due to the plying of these illegal vehicles. TF |
