State Minister for Religious Affairs pays respect to Bangabandhu

 State Minister for Religious Affairs Faridul Haque Khan paid homage to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman placing wreaths at his grave in Tungipara upazila of Gopalganj on Thursday .He also offered prayers at his grave seeking eternal peace of departed souls of Bangabandhu and the martyrs of the August 15, 1975 massacre. Among others, Gopalganj DC Shahida Sultana, district Awami League general secretary Mahbub Ali Khan and local AL leaders were present. Later, he offered fateha at the grave of former State Minister for Religious Affairs Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah, who died on June 14 this year. MHM/LY |
