 SC rejects bail plea of convict accused Abu Naser Besides, the apex court also directed the authorities concerned to take back the accused to jail after the conclusion of his treatment. Senior Advocate Nazrul Islam Chowdhury prayed for bail for the convict on medical grounds while Attorney General AM Amin Uddin appeared for the state and opposed the bail prayer. Commodore Golam Rabbani, former aide-de-camp of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh MujiburRahman and the former Managing Director of Korean Export Processing Zone (KEPZ), was shot by criminals at Muradpur in Chattogram on April 11 in 2004.
