Father-son held with hemp in Pirojpur

A man and his son were held along with hemp at Kaukhali upazila in Pirojpur district on Monday night.

The detainees are Alam Hawlader, 60, and his son Nasim alias Rezaul, 20, are the residents of Chirapara village in the upazila.

Kaukhali Police Station officer in-charge (OC) Md Nazrul Islam confirmed the matter on Tuesday afternoon.

On information, police raided their house and recovered five kgs of hemp, the OC said.

A case was filed with the Police Station under the Narcotics Control Act.
