Japanese NGO to award 15 Kaliganj women

Japanese NGO to award 15 Kaliganj women



Japan-based voluntary organization 'Hunger Free World' picked 15 women at Kaliganj in Jhenidah district for their contributions in building hunger-free Bangladesh.

They have been contributing in sustainable development, organic farming, self-employment, environmental protection, women empowerment, socio-economic development, and hunger and poverty free country in various ways.
A crest and cash will be officially handed over to the 15 women at the organization's office in Kaliganj town on Wednesday.

The organization gives the award every year for contributions to the society in different ways.

Renuka Akter of Niamatpur; Marufa Khatun and Tahmina Begum of Mostofapur; Munni and Jyotsna Begum of Anupampur; Manjura Rani of Maheshwarchada; Swapna Khatun and Roopban Begum of Mallikpur, Farhana Begum of Agmundia, Asmani Debnath and Rexona Begum of Balarampur; Fatema Begum of Bholpara; Asma Begum of Harigobindpur; and Rizia and Rina Begum of Aruashlua in Kaliganj will be awarded this year.
