Bangladesh reports more 32 COVID-19 deaths

With the deaths of 32 more people in the last 24 hours until 8:00 am on Tuesday, Bangladesh's COVID-19 death count now stands at 6,448.
During this timeline, 2,230 fresh cases were reported, taking the total virus cases to 4,51,990.
The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) confirmed the matter through a press release signed by Prof Dr Nasima Sultana, Additional Director General of DGHS, on Tuesday afternoon.
Health authorities also reported 2,266 more recoveries in a day, taking the total number of recoveries to 3,66,877.
In the last 24 hours, 117 coronavirus testing laboratories across the country collected 15,265 samples and tested 15,018.
With this, a total of 26,80,149 samples were tested in the country.
Among the newly deceased, 25 were men and seven were 15 women.
As of today, a total of 4,955 men (76.85 per cent) and 1,493 women (23.15 per cent) died from COVID-19 in Bangladesh.
The infection rate is 14.85 per cent in the last 24 hours, compared to the samples tested while the overall infection rate is 16.86.
So far, the recovery rate is 81.17 per cent and the mortality rate is 1.43per cent.
Bangladesh reported its first coronavirus case on March 8 and the first death on March 18.
