Four burnt in gas leakage fire in Dhaka

Four burnt in gas leakage fire in Dhaka

Four people, including three employees of Titas Gas, have sustained burn injuries as a fire erupted from gas pipeline leak in Panthapath area of Dhaka.

The incident occurred on Sunday evening. 

The injured are Abdullah, 55, Ajim, 40, Ruhul Amin, 40, employees of Titas Gas, and passersby Jafar, 30. 

They were admitted to Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery.

Titas Gas Dhanmondi Zone technician Mirza Rabiul Islam said the fire broke out when the employees went there to repair the leakage of gas pipeline in the evening.
Rabiul further said they are investigating the reason behind the gas leakage.
