Man held with Phensedyl syrup in Jhenidah

Police detained a man along with 110 bottles of Phensedyl syrup at Jhenidah bus terminal on Sunday morning.

Detained Momin Hossain, 35, hails from Kanaidanga village at Damurhuda upazila in Chuadanga district.

Jhenidah Sadar Police Station officer in-charge (OC) Mizanur Rahman said on information, police conducted a drive in the terminal area and detained him from a Faridpur-bound passenger bus with the contraband syrup.

A case was filed with the Police Station in this connection.
