Govt cancels parade on Victory Day



The government has cancelled Victory Day's parade programme at the National Parade Ground in Dhaka's Tejgaon as the country is facing the second wave of coronavirus.

The news has been confirmed from papers of a inter-ministerial virtual meeting, led by Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque, ahead of Victory Day.

As per the Minister's direction, the day will be observed through limited programmes which will be discussed in the second. meeting
