Hanging body of girl recovered in Thakurgaon

Police recovered the hanging body of a 20-year-old girl at Ranishangkail upazila in Thakurgaon district on Saturday afternoon.

Deceased Nami Rani Rai, 20, was the daughter of Dhiren Chandra Rai, a resident of Udisa-Laxmipur village in the upazila.

Family sources said Rani hanged herself at her room in the afternoon.

Raishankail Police Station officer in-charge (Investigation) Abdul Latif said the body was handed over to the family as there was no complaint.
