![]() 'Where there's corruption, there will be drive by law enforcers' Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has said where there is corruption, there will be operation of law enforcers’ agencies. The Home Minister told journalists on Saturday while inaugurating the Secondary Transfer Station in city's Maghbazar area. “Where there is corruption, there will be continuous operation of law enforcers’ agencies. Operation at Golden Monir's residence is also part of this effort. Militants surrendered in Sirajganj as the law enforcers’ agencies are active in their duties," he said. Kamal said, “Acting on a tip-off, RAB conducted the drive which led the surrenders of militants. They (militants) realized that country is marching forward and, they will not be able to push the country back with their attacks. This is a reason behind their surrender.” About coronavirus, the minister said Bangladesh is not much affected by the virus like other countries of the world. “We have provided health services to infected people as per the directions of our Prime Minister. And also have taken steps to bring spread of the virus under control.” GY |
